Neural Network Update: already running on your System

We are pleased to announce that a new version of our neural network has been successfully deployed across all AgnosPCB Online systems. No action is required on your end; the update is already active and running.

This release is the result of months of continuous development. But more than that, it is the result of something we believe in deeply: the idea that the best inspection system is one that learns from the people who use it every day. Your observations, your reports, and your trust in sharing what you see on your lines are what make updates like this one possible.

AgnosPCB neural network software detecting defects

AgnosPCB detecting defects in real time, new neural network already active.

What's new in this neural network version

General detection performance: Overall accuracy has been increased across all inspection scenarios, delivering more reliable results regardless of board complexity or component density.

Electrolytic capacitor polarity (SMD & PTH): The system now shows enhanced reliability when identifying incorrect polarity on both surface-mount and through-hole electrolytic components. This is one of the most critical defect types in production environments.

Connector defect detection: Detection of damaged, mispositioned, or inverted connectors has been made significantly more robust, reducing the risk of defective assemblies reaching the end of the line.

PCB surface integrity: Greater sensitivity to scratches and surface anomalies on the board ensures that cosmetic and structural defects are caught earlier in the inspection process.

Built with you

A meaningful part of the neural network improvements in this release traces directly back to reports submitted by our customers. Every time you flag an undetected fault during an inspection, that data reaches our servers and feeds into the training of the next network version. The more we receive, the more targeted and effective each release becomes.

If you would like to contribute, the process takes seconds. Once an inspection is complete, navigate through the detected areas using the left and right arrow keys. When you spot an undetected fault, press the up arrow key. The report is sent automatically, nothing else is needed.

What comes next

We are already working on the next version. Each release gets us closer to a system that is not just accurate, but genuinely adapted to the real-world conditions our customers face. We are grateful for every customer who is part of that process, and for everyone who will be.

If you have any questions about this update or about the reporting process, do not hesitate to reach out at support@agnospcb.com. We are always available.
